Individual play - full handicap (maximum 36). Each player will mark the ball they start with in a distinctive manner. This ball must be used during the entire round. If you lose the ball, mark on both the tournament card and tournament sheet on which hole the ball was lost, and on which shot (for example, 14th hole, 2nd shot). The ball is considered lost only if it cannot be found or retrieved. If it is found or retrieved, play can be continued with it, using the rules of golf for counting strokes. You may hit a provisional ball if the ball you started with may be lost or out of bounds. If it is out of bounds but retrievable, replace the provisional ball with the ball you started with, taking the penalty strokes as they apply. Post scores to tournament card and sheet. Deduct handicap from total gross score on tournament card and sheet. If you have lost the ball prior to completion of the round, enter just the hole and shot where the ball was lost as indicated above. Prizes awarded to the six lowest net scores which complete the round with the starting ball. If less than six players achieve this, the remaining prizes will be awarded to the players who completed the most holes (and shots, in the evnt of a tie) with the starting ball. |
