The
OHWGA is an association of 140 members. By joining the club you in turn
become an OHWGA member and receive the many membership benefits and services
that the OHWGA provides.

Handicap
Each member receives a USGA membership card and Handicap Index, updated
periodically.

Handbook
The handbook is available in the Pro Shop. It lists Board members,
club rules, the tournament schedule and descriptions, and almost every
Association activity. It's the first place you should look if you
have any questions.

List
Memberships lists are available in the Pro Shop and this website.
It is a current list of the names, addresses, and phone numbers of
all OHWGA members. This list really comes in handy when you're looking
for a partner, many of whom would enjoy a phone call to set up a game!
- Bag
Tags
OHWGA provides new members with a personalized bag tag. Look for
it in the Pro Shop and display it proudly on your golf bag!
- Bulletin
Boards
There are 3 bulletin boards at the course, which you will need
to know about.
1. Pairings sign-up sheets for the weekly tournaments are posted
on the large bulletin board across from the Pro Shop.
2. Winners, birdie tree, eagles, aces, and other notices are
on the bulletin board in the Pro Shop.
3. Sign-up sheet for tournaments for the day of play and the
ringer sheet are posted on the bulletin board, located in the hallway
of the restroom area.

An extensive OHWGA weekly tournament schedule.
- Club
Championship
The Club Championship is a tournament for golfers of all abilities.
Its divided into flights so youll be playing with others
of similar skill. To participate, you must have played in five
tournaments prior to the Club Championship.

The newsletter is a good way to learn what's going on. It gives you
results and notices on what's happening in the organization. Also,
if you're trying to buy or sell equipment or golf related items, just
give a call to the chairperson for the Newsletter.

- Birdie/Eagle/Hole
in One Tree
A
special tree is in the Pro Shop for you to record birdies,
eagles and aces that occur during tournament play. Prizes are
awarded at the end of the season...see the handbook.box in the Pro
Shop or call the chairperson for the Newsletter.

Hole
in One Club
Members
may join the Hole-In-One Club for a small fee. A hole-in-one is not
limited to Association tournaments but is limited to play at Oak Hills
Park. A verification form located at the Pro Shop must be completed.
Prizes will be awarded at the annual dinner. If no one gets a hole-in-one
during a season, prizes will be held over to the following season.
- Ringers
Ringers
are an accumulation of your best scores, hole by hole, in tournament
play over the entire season. Post any ringers you have after
each tournament round. You may be eligible for a prize at the
end of the season.
