Each member receives a USGA membership card and Handicap Index, updated periodically.

The handbook is available in the Pro Shop. It lists Board members, club rules, the tournament schedule and descriptions, and almost every Association activity. It's the first place you should look if you have any questions.

  • Membership List
Memberships lists are available in the Pro Shop and this website. It is a current list of the names, addresses, and phone numbers of all OHWGA members. This list really comes in handy when you're looking for a partner, many of whom would enjoy a phone call to set up a game!

  • Bulletin Boards
There are 3 bulletin boards at the course, which you will need to know about.
    1. Pairings sign-up sheets for the weekly tournaments are posted on the large bulletin board across from the Pro Shop.
    2. Winners, birdie tree, eagles, aces, and other notices are on the bulletin board in the Pro Shop.

  • Newsletter - Tee Times
The newsletter is a good way to learn what's going on. It gives you results and notices on what's happening in the organization. Also, if you're trying to buy or sell equipment or golf related items, just give a call to the chairperson for the Newsletter.

  • WEBSITE: www.ohwga.org
Our web site is another great area to get information. Much of the information from the handbook is here such as the tournament dates and descriptions and the list of current board members.

  • Birdie/Eagle/Hole in One Tree
A special “tree” is in the Pro Shop for you to record birdies, eagles and aces that occur during tournament play.  Prizes are awarded at the end of the season...see the handbook.box in the Pro Shop or call the chairperson for the Newsletter.
  • Hole in One Club
Members may join the Hole-In-One Club for a small fee. A hole-in-one is not limited to Association tournaments but is limited to play at Oak Hills Park. A verification form located at the Pro Shop must be completed. Prizes will be awarded at the annual dinner. If no one gets a hole-in-one during a season, prizes will be held over to the following season.
  • Ringers
Ringers are an accumulation of your best scores, hole by hole, in tournament play over the entire season.  Post any ringers you have after each tournament round.  You may be eligible for a prize at the end of the season.
